My Story
Fifteen years ago, I started my career as an Elementary School Teacher in Vancouver, British Columbia. From the very beginning, I found that I was drawn to students who needed further connection and understanding. Working one-on-one with these students and their families made me feel more passionate about my day-to-day work. That was when I knew that counselling was the right path for me. I decided to complete my Masters in School Counselling and since then, I have been able to spend my days at work doing what I absolutely love. I get to provide my undivided attention to my students and their families, while helping them with the challenges they face. I have extensive experience working with a variety of people struggling with difficult family dynamics, debilitating anxiety, feelings of depression, separation, divorce, trauma, major life transitions and abuse.
More recently, I have become a mother to an amazing son and daughter who are the reasons I decided to become a Sleep Consultant. I found the topic so interesting with such a strong link to mental health. As a new Mom, I tried every possible way to help my son sleep.
